I wish I could do this myself... I saw some on ebay for under 150 bucks.
Doesn't look like something I'd want to try myself either....

I did notice on the link, though, that although there was no part found for the civic hybrid, there was for the civic sedan. I believe the front ends are identical, but I've never verified that.

Just to be clear, they are not identical. The hybrid includes the turn signals on the side mirrors and most of the 3M kits come with covers for the side mirrors. I am not sure what they would do with them (cover the lens or just paste over them) because of the small outcropping of the lens at the end of the turn signal.

You wouldn't want to do this on your own unless you are are skilled at window tinting/vinyl application. It can be very tricky.

I have a rockblocker (3m clear bra) on my STi and I love it. Looks like they have kits for the 06
http://www.rockblocker.net/store/37701.htm
I would send an email just to verify it is correct.

There are also shops that custom cut the material to perfectly match your car. If you find one of these places you will most likely get a nicer install around all the edges of the hood/fenders.

If people are interested I an post a link to what the bra's look like on my STi.

The prices are very high! You can get the full kit for about $175 in Southern California or $450 installed.

Can you recommend a good place in Orange County?

I am getting a quote for $550 here in Phoenix. It seems high but it's about what I paid in 2001 for my Acura.

I honestly didn't even look at the prices. I got my full kit for my STi for $200, would have assumed they'd be the same for the civics.

The main thing to look for is that it is 3m and they will warranty it for life. You don't want to go cheap and have it start to yellow in a few years.

Sorry I don't know anyone in OC but you can check out this guy in San Gabriel which is about 30-40 min from OC.

http://www.aae3m.com/default.html

He quoted me $450 for 3M Clear Bra for extended bumper, hood, side mirror, small top area of the rear bumper and headlight protection or for the non-extended bumper, hood, and side mirror for $380 .
