I am interested in the civic hybrid, but have read several articles that bash the stock seats. Does anyone know if it's possible or has anyone put current gen Si seats in the current gen Hybrid?

 

I had trouble with the seats at first, but you wear into them after awhile. They are probably the same as the SI. H

 

I'm not sure they're the same as the SI, because the seats in my brother's EX Coupe are different from those in the hybrid.

 

coupe seats are always different than 4 door due to the exit/entry system. the 4 door si seats should fit tho.

 

You are looking for trouble. Those seat prob cost more than you want to know and Honda probably wont do the work. You could run into safety issues with the side airbags and warranty issues with Honda.

Best to try the oe seats out yourself.

Personally, I removed the seat backs and added some padding for lumbar support. Look for an automotive upholsterer (sp) for advice.
