Default Differences in jump procedures?

Hi all. I need to jumpstart my wife's 2005 Grand Caravan from my HCHII and was wondering if there's any difference in the procedure (or any greater risk to the HCHII) from doing so.

Read your manual. You do NOT put both ends of the cable on the battery--that much I rememeber. I do not know where you put them though (hense my suggestion to read the manual).

I believe in the manual it speaks of jumping the hybrid itself, not other cars.
I had a funny experience where I was asked to jump a Lincoln Navigator. Both clamps on the battery. Jumped that Navigator with no problem. Really wish I had a picture of it, though.
