I will be picking my car up in a few weeks as well and was curious...did most of you have good luck when taking a print-out of 'myhondawarranty.com' to the dealer? Did most of them match the web-site or did they refuse and you purchase from the website? I think I will take a print-out when I go to pick up my car and hope they match the price (would just be easier that way, I think). If they refuse, I will definatly purchase it through the website.
Personally, why get into the pissing match at the dealer? When they try to push it on you just get an idea of how much and say you want to think about it. That way they won't be hesitant when you ask for some freebie
Then you can just order it later at your leasure.

It's worth a shot. Didn't work for me, although no hassles about it.
If you go in KNOWING what you will pay, they have NO argument.
Also, keep in mind that you can pseudo-finance the warranty at Saccucci. You pay a down-payment ($75-$100, can't remember), then the balance is put on 12 monthly installments on your credit card. Zero interest. Pretty nice deal.

Besides the salesman at the dealership that I am purchasing my car through is really nice, not that he has the final decision on the warrenty price or anything, but it's worth a shot and will just be easier if it can be added into the price of the car and my monthly payments.

My dealer only orders the Civic Hybrids with splash guards and some door trim protection package. I added fog lights, the chrome tail pipe tip, and the auto rear view mirror. I think I will add my own floor mats, as I don't care too much if it says, "Civic" on it.
I will probably get the extended warranty through Saccucci later on. I went to their website and changed the mileage around on my car. The price stays the same until I go over 5000 miles. I figured I'd just wait until that happens. Why pay for double coverage in my cars youth?
I live in Rhode Island and actually work about a mile from the dealership. I did not buy my extended warranty thru them as it was about double the price of what others were paying that didn't live in Rhode Island. So I had to purchase mine thru a dealership I found online that is in Louisiana. I got a 6/120 $0 ded for $825. The dealership's name I believe is MOSSISBOSS.COM. I dealt with a guy named Pascual in the finance department. Just email him and ask for a quote for what exactly you want in a warranty.
Hi folks. These threads are always good, even if they repeat every once in awhile.
I bought mine through Sacucci as well. It was 900 for 7/120 with 0 deductible. A couple of interesting points. I bought it right at 6000 miles and thats the number I used.
The paperwork is marked NEW car warranty. In addition, it gets registered with a national Honda Warranty group and so you get a Saccucci certificate receipt etc as well as the national registered numbered pamphlet thingee.
AS an FYI there was no sales tax ( perhaps there isnt in state as well-- I dont know).
My dealer really didnt offer me Hondacare and was going for some third party they have a relationship with that they said they had " a good experince with." I interpreted that to mean they make money and don't pay out claims, at the offered rate of 1500 dollars. There was no tension etc however. Obviously I declined but it gave a chance to really look at an extended warranty in detail in any case.
I bought the warranty due to potential sensor electronics issues as the car ages. I find these type of things to be annoying, somewhat frequent in other cars I have had, and a real money drainer over time. I have no problem spending 900 bucks now even if I have no problems after the the first year or even the third. I bought mine when the MSRP was 21850 including destination. I can see things have gotten more expensive.
