Hmmm... I was under the impression higher altitude causes mpg to drop because of lower oxygen level?? Plus we get 10% ethanol in gas year round which does not help at all. I do see about 2 mpg gain on highway when I am able to fill 100% gas.

It is something very new for to hear. Because for me Honda Accord has been working very fine for me. I think it has very good fuel economy. I would share a quote here:
