Oh, and the windshield mount doesn't work well on the slope of the HCH II. I ordered the friction mount instead (beanbag). That will make "unmounting" it easier, as well.

Re: what you paid for 2007 FULL LOADED HCHII?
hmm... how detailed are we to be...
2007 with NAVI, leather steering wheel cover, auto day/night mirror, foglights, mud guards, door edge guards, accent stripe - $25,998 (after negotiated 1900 in trade on a '98 Nissan 200SX - to get to the price i wanted they padded the trade up from a value of < $750) -- then adding a 5 year/100,000 warranty kicked the price up to $27,153
since taking delivery of the car in mid may, i have taken it to an auto upholstery guy to take care of the back breaking driver's seat lumbar - had the padding removed and reshaped (dam i hate lumbar support) for $135 - also had a parrot bluetooth kit installed, kit, conversion harness and install for $292 - lastly, added the exhaust pipe trim finisher, purchased off ebay from bernardi parts for $100 shipped (and hell, even i can install this one by myself...)
time to stop spending money now, though i wish there was a cheaper way to install a backup camera, the blind spots are killer. why on earth is there NOT a video input on the back of this NAVI ? a little frustrating, i must say. sending the NAVI stereo to the guy at TVtoNAV in brooklyn for a $450 mod to add video inputs and then paying someone to reinstall the NAVI and backup camera is $1000 i just can't justify.

Well, I thought I'd revisit an old post (since I'm about to seal the deal)... if anything, to update folks thinkin of taking the leap with a new purchase... So I was quoted 22400 plus tax, title, and license for a HCHII w/ navigation. Seems to be about 2k under MSRP. Dealer has beee very helpful, so I figure what the heck. I should be pickin her up tomorrow

I called around when I bought my HCH II navi on 7/31 and was able to get the price of $22,400 + tax, title, and license. I am sure it was because it was the the end and it was a 2007. They are willing to deal since 2008s are about to hit the lot.

Re: what you paid for 2007 FULL LOADED HCHII?
I just bought my 2007 on 8/07. I paid $21,783 without Navi. Has tinted windows, floor mats, and the "Custom Painted Pin Stripe" . With TT&L I paid $23K. I'm wishing now that I would have paid the extra $1K for the one with Navi. I still love it anyway. Oh yeah, no trade in, no money down. I actually love it more than the 425 horsepower 2002 Camaro I just sold. That was a fun car, but well... that's for a different thread .

congrats. that is not a bad price with all the extras you did or didn't want. i have the navi and don't use it since i go to the same place everyday. but, in instances i don't i am glad i have it.

New owner here and my first post...out the door including tax, tag, etc for $20,800 on a non-NAV HCHII. Included 1500 on trade from my 98 Passat. Also includes floor mats, mud flaps, trunk tray, chrome exhaust finisher and wheel locks which are a bunch of things I probably don't need but they wouldn't take off the car.
Pretty happy with that.
