What did your HCHII Replace?

Re: What did your HCHII Replace?
Mine replaced a 1996 Ford Taurus GL. Nice car, smooth ride, but I had been having some problems with it, so we traded it in and bought the HCHII. The Taurus had sentimental value, it was actually my grandmother's car for a long time, but I absolutely love my Civic!

1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 -> 320-hp, All-Wheel Drive, All-Wheel Steering, Twin Turbo Intercooled V-6, 6-speed Manual. LOVED that car. Owned it from 2000-2006 and put 140k miles on it in 5 years (1 of the years I worked no more than 2 miles from home) - sold at 180k miles when I drove it from Pittsburgh to San Francisco and loved every mile of it. Usually around 18 mpg but I could eek out 25 mpg if I was mindful. That 20-gal tank got filled up TWICE a week though with my current job and the many trips we took which recently meant over $80 a week in gas. I currently fill up the car ONCE a week for 11 gal or about $25 a week.

Re: What did your HCHII Replace?
I just bought an '07 HCH to replace my '04 Insight. I will miss my little Su Lev, but I needed more traction.
I actually don't have the HCH yet, I bought her while she was still in transit from Japan. The car is now the US, but having fog lights installed an stuff like that. I get her tomorrow.

Sheesh, what's the story there? Was it a 2.8?
Our HCH II is replacing a 1997 VW Passat VR6 5 speed wagon. 170k miles, turned about 28mpg highway, 19 city.
