Safety Recall Notice

Safety Recall Notice
Today, June 10, I received a recall notice on my 2007 Civic Hybrid. It states that on certain 2006-7 Civics the telescoping steering wheel column may have been over-lubricated with silicone grease. Some of this extra grease may drip on the brake light switch and cause it to fail. Failure may result in a loss of function of the brake lights. It also may prevent shifting the auto transmission into park.
I was wondering if anyone else has received this notice. My last experience was with GM, and I had the notice several weeks before the dealer was notified by whomever notifies them of the problem and they ordered parts. Strangely enough, that was also for a brake light switch which took all of ten minutes to replace.

Re: Safety Recall Notice
I had that posted on the "my Honda" web page, I asked my dealer about it on a previous visit, it was fixed the same day, I did not wait around cause other stuff was being done.

Re: Safety Recall Notice
Known recall, it's really a pretty quick fix for a dealership (less than half an hour for mine) since it doesn't involve any hybrid-specific components. All they do is replace a relay and put a plastic/rubber hood over it.
