Living in Canada, I converted those number in L/100km.
To my surprise, It's almost an increase arround 1.0L/100km.
07 HCHII: +0.9L/100km
07 Civic MT: +0.98L/100km
07 Toyota Corrola MT: +1.06L/100km
07 Mazda 3 MT: +1.12L/100km
07 Nissan Sentra MT: +0.87L/100km
07 Pontiac G5 MT: +1.01L/100km
So my conclusion is: in term of increase in %, yes hybrid are hit more badly than non-hybrid car. But when it come the the fuel quantity require to do the same distance the increase is about the same.
Am I wrong?

That "file photo" of Kenny on the 405 is incorrect - with 2 people in a two-seater car it should qualify for a CA Carpool Sticker which is not properly displayed on the windshield (heck - there is no windshield either).

If this is true AND California does decide to issue additional carpool stickers I believe this will make the 08 ineligible. It is my understanding that the average of highway and city mileage had to be at least 45 mpg to qualify for the stickers.

Good point.
But that 45 was based on the old EPA rating system.
Shouldn't they lower it to around 40 to keep it apples to apples?
BTW, where did you get that pic of me on the 405?
