Has anything broken on your HCH II?
7 months, almost 8,000 miles and so far a few things. Nothing major though.
63 mile bug was fixed, and I even got the gauges cluster replaced by the shop foreman because mine was the first one they'd done at the dealership.
My rear view mirror started wobbling hopelessly when it got over 100 degrees outside, they replaced it and it helped, but it's still not as tight as I would hope it to be.
My interior light burned out, and I've just been too lazy to take it in or just replace it myself.
There is one little rattle comming from right around the drivers upper seat belt mount. It's more of a buzz than a rattle, but it will be addressed eventually.
Aside from the heat related battery gauge recalibrations we're doing good.

I think it started in the past couple of weeks after I've had the vehicle for a little over a month and about 2,500 miles on it.
Interestingly, now that I think about it, the buzz started when I aired the tires up to 40 psi. At that pressure the car definitely has a harsher ride... but I do get 1-2 mpg higher fuel economy, so I can live with it.

Granted, mine's a HCH-I, but since it has 105k miles on it, I can tell you what you've got to look forward to.
Breakage: The only thing that's actually broken is the cruise control indicator. The cruise control actually still works just fine, but the little LED has burned out.
Mechanical failures: Catalytic converter (at 50k and 90k). I think Honda fixed this problem in the HCH-II. On the original version, the engine ran to lean. Warranty covered both replacements. The 12v backup battery failed at 90k (cost = $79)
Wear and tear: The carpet where one's foot rests when driving now has a hole all the way down to the metal. Oh well.
Noise: It's got a little rattle and hum. It's not too bad, but the car isn't the silent wonder it was when brand new.

I am finding out that hot weather does not agree with my HCH. Not at all. My mileage had dropped way down from what I was getting originally. The only thing I can think that has changed has been the weather, however earlier in the year when it was in the 100's F, it was still getting good mileage. I have gone from averaging about 48-50 mpg to down in the 40 mpg range per tank. Regen does not work well, and auto stop is pretty much never works. I really haven't done anything different, other than change the oil. Same route to work, etc. Very disapointed. I have 12k on the car so far. Tried window tint to see if that would help, but no difference seen. If its this much of a problem in the hot Texas summers, I will have to sell it

I don't know if this is any consolation, but I am expecting to get in the mid 30's when winter arrives. To make matters worse, the extreme winters (-30F and lower) in my area can last for several months thus my yearly average will take a severe hit. But, when I look at it carefully, I have very few alternatives to my HCH-2 that would make me happier.
I know there are many more HCH-2 owners who wish they could have milleage equivalent to your lowest... and unless there is something really wrong about your car it could be a mistake to sell it.
Cheers

1. 63 mile bug - repaired
2. Driver's side window regulator and run channel - replaced
3. Jiggly rear-view mirror when cabin is very hot - Clears up pretty quickly. I have a garage at home and work, so I'll probably just live with this one.
4. Very disturbing transmission clunk when I start the car 1 out of 25 times - Not quite sure what this is. I'll prowl around a bit here. I'm sure some of you other guys have mentioned this.

Ok I spoke too soon. My interior light started working again. Now I'm scared, that means there's a loose connection somewhere. Hopefully the bulb is not seated in it's connector properly.
Today, after 3000+ miles, my driver's side window has decided to jump its track at about 1" from closing. It started happening just after I washed the car, thankfully. I'd hate to have sprayed soapy water into the 1/8" gap left by the misaligned window.
