I own a 2008 civic hybrid bought it new 4/08 and have 270,000 miles on vehicle and have put my first 1000.00 repairs on it! I have been reading all your posts about various problems with this vehicle and I have not really experianced any of these. The only complaint I have about this vehicle is lack of traction control and the rear wheel camber problem> I had the updated control arms replaced at aroun 60,000 and they made a slight improvement, by no means cured the problem! My fuel mileage has been avg of 42-43 mpg consistant lower in the colder weather! but overall would purchase another once I wear this one out!

 

Man you put some miles on in a hurry. How the heck do you do that. Sounds like your pretty happy over-all? H

 

You are not the only one, though I can only hope to get as many miles out of mine as you get out of yours.

 

As an owner of a 2007 HCHII with only 80K miles, I second the reliability of this car. Other than tires, and routine maintenance, I have had no out of pocket expenses on this car.

I personally think that those that have had less than stellar experiences with their HCHIIs are the exception rather than the norm.
