V: I drove for around 70 Kil. after the last bar and still only manage 40 lit. in the tank! I am going to try it again on my next trip

 

Why try to go far on a tank? Because you CAN! And it's part of the challenge - the fun. I bought my Civic Hybrid because I thought it was the responsible thing to do, (and I was tired of 'keeping up with the Jones's'). I had no idea what a blast it is to try to improve the fe on every trip. Now the best part of going to work is ...going to work! Sure, it's nice to save a few bucks on gas, but I'm really trying to make up for the waste of driving a 14mpg Land Rover for the last 7 years. Most people think I'm nuts - reading my guages, logging every trip, recording my fillups online; but to me, it's better than a video game!
