Default 12v plug/dash lights flicker sporatically

I have only owned my 03 HCH for 3 weeks and I've encountered an oddity. I drive 60mi round trip to work and have been noticing this, at least 1-2 times on my drive home.

Very sporadically, the power to the 12v socket in the console and the dash lights will flicker on/off.
I have not been able to replicate it, and the only consistency is that it is in the afternoon, when I'm driving home with the A/C on. I don't use the A/C in the AM since it's cool enough to not run it.

I only noticed it because I'm using a bluetooth FM modulator to listen to music and a phone charger to power my phone during the commute and the modulator/phone would disconnect and reconnect and I have to start my music again.

I want to say its the 12v battery, but not sure. I haven't been able to take it to a battery shop to get it tested, but it is almost 3 years old.

Any help or ideas?

The battery posts are worn a bit, I've tightened the clamps down.
Still need to load test battery

It's not an isolated issue to JUST the socket. The dash lights flicker as well.
I didn't catch that for a day or 2 though. Initially, I did just suspect the socket was going south, but ruled that out when I saw the dash backlight flicker.

No matter what else you do:
  1. REPLACE (-) battery cable
  2. REPLACE grounds (search my recent posts - included a picture from the service manual on locations
  3. Likely REPLACE your 12V regardless of how it tests. Honda charging systems do not preserve battery life as well as others. 3 years may be all you get.
Honda grounds are notorious for internal corrosion that you can't see unless you split the insulation to expose the copper strands. Unless it's clear they were recently replaced, replace them all.

Outside of checking/cleaning grounds, this was my planned process. I also am going to replace the post clamps.
Just needed verification. Thanks!
