Default P1679 Error Code

Hi All,

I have a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid with about 115,000 miles. I have a check engine light for a P1679 RSCD Signal malfunction. I can't seem to find much information on this code online. The only thing that I found was there was a TSB for the 2003 Civic about a software update to the ECM to resolve this code. I believe the software is already updated on the 2005 version. Does anyone know what this code could possibly be? Additionally, is there any chance this code would be covered under the 15 years 150,000 miles emission warranty the car is still under?

Additionally, I have a P1433 code and P1600 code on for the IMA battery. Those two codes have been going on and off for a couple of years. I know the pack will need to be replaced soon but is the P1679 also related to the battery?

Thanks in advance.
