Nitrogen. In your tires....
Nitrogen will leak out of the tyres slower than ambient air, but if you check your tyres' pressures each fill-up like one should regardless of gas used, no benefit is gained with nitrogen gas, and ambient air is less expensive.

Forget the Hindenberg!!! I agree with fernando_g, hydrogen all the way. For those in cold climates, metallic hydrogen for the rims.
Actually, I think a problem with hydrogen or helium would be faster leakage than with air or nitrogen.
