With a combined EPA of 21MPG, our Grand Caravan is moving up as well.
It seems my FE ways have rubbed off on my better half with a few tanks
over 20, and now the latest of +25.
Our last Grand Caravan had a MPG meter but the current one doesn't, which
makes it more difficult for her. I think she's mainly keeping her speed below 65
and driving with load when she can.
Half of her daily trips are 15 miles freeway to work (Twice) and the other half is a 4 mile round trip to 2 schools (for the kids) in the morning.

Coming from mid-upper teens for the 1st 50K miles she has "came a long way"
Hope she can keep it up!!!

Thanks Wayne.
Our GC EPA is:
EPA ratings: 18 mpg city | 24 mpg highway
I think we're pretty close to the rating.

Heh, thanks, Wayne!

It's a shame that these puppies are't available down there. Maybe the next generation car will, coming in late 2006 so I hear.

My records here include the car's first tank from the dealer, so it's been a battle to make up for my "bad" early start, as the engine was running in back in January 2005.

Well, my MPG in USG has stabilised around 66-68 recently but unfortunately my driving environment is not ideal for really maxxing the figures out much beyond that.

Some members on the Canadian smart forum at www.clubsmartcar.ca are doing better than me. For example, one member (mixed) is averaging over 65 MPG since new, with a best tank of 76 MPG, and another (DieselDave) has reported 82 MPG on a full tank.

I expect to crack 70 occasionally in my everyday driving.

My car is a cabriolet and I usually drive with the top down in good weather, which is not good for fuel economy of course. So what, it's FUN! I also have A/C and heated seats, both of which get occasional use. I like good economy, but not at the expense of comfort/fun....

You guys are all to be congratulated. One day everyone will wake up and realize that waste is stupid and very harmful to the environment. I only hope it's soon.
