I'm not sure I know what you mean by "do a quick take of the Insight link in my sig."

As for the "ridiculous roller coaster of average FE spreads" I agree with you but it is a reflection of the reality of my refueling experience. Personally I choose to use the FCD MPG to smooth out the chart, and if I want the actual MPG I will subtract 3.8%. When I get time I will go back and edit my data as you suggest....Louis

Wayne, what happens to our star if we (gasp) suffer lower numbers due to winter? (only kidding folks, no way I'm swapping vehicles with my other half).

Since highway vs city mileage is part of the equation to getting a star, any possibility you consider temp and make modifications for those in the great snowy north?

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Xcel! You flatter me but I'll try...still holding my breath trying to pull down an 800 mile / 60 MPG tank...once those start coming regulary I'll let myself think about Valedictorian.

Thanx for the Valedictorian mention for my FEH. It gets gas again tomorrow on the way to work, and I'm sitting at 38.1 mpg for the entire tank. Hopefully, I'll be able to hold onto that figure despite the hills near where I live, untill I get to where I saw gas at $2.18/gal on the way home tonight. It'll be the tank that should put me solidly into the hypermiler stats, as it'll take the logs over 3k miles.
