Has anyone heard of or seen any kind of oil filter conversion kit to allow me to use a normal spin-on filter? I hate these stupid cartridge filters with a passion and it would be nice to be able to just spin off an old one and spin on a new one.

 

i am surprised - i got close (but no); hayden has one but it is for the 3.0 escape (so, not the hybrid)
i looked into this when i got my 08 kia in the year 10 - looked briefly and gave up.
mostly knew about mr gasket - but they have covered chevys from the 50 thru the 60s
(thy have done those for many years);
there may be something out there - i did not find anything.
