I don't see anything about the 4WD engaged xgauge in that thread. Did I somehow miss it??

Yes, I misinterrupted your statement. The 4wd engaged xgauge information is new to me--can you repost this or redirect us to a link on this?

Look at post #7 in this thread. I am constantly updating the list. Hopefully people will report back problems if they find any.

Default SGI Conversion

Since I had the SGI I saw no reason not to put it to use as well.
So I did a little SGI conversion today.

Carl, I tried your 4WD value and got no display on the Scangauge either during the am or pm commute. The unclear photos were taken at 5:40am today.

You should not have gotten a blank display. Are you sure you coded it correctly? I double checked it and it is correct in post #7. It displays OFF in my FWD.

Mine reads "OFF" when sitting engine off. I haven't tried it under any other conditions. I assume it only goes "ON" momentarily when 4WD is actually engaged.

If Billy programmed his correctly and it displays blank, might this be another difference between the '05 and '07 4WD models, like SoC display on '05 but not on '07?

I will retry on Weds and post the results. Most likely I did something wrong.

Perhaps, but I really suspect not. The PID is also used for a few other indicators, so I think it should work. BUT, I can see no reason why 06-07 AWD can't read the SoC PID, yet they don't. There is still a possible work around for this, but I haven't completely figured out how to test it out.

FYI I installed a SCII in my 06 4wd and my SOC appears to be working. Hovers around the mid 50's
