Take a look at the article on the greenhybrid.com homepage. Ford presented their new electric vehicles for 2012. Bill Ford said that the Escape Hybrid and Fusion Hybrid were Ford's "first phase in their electrification plan" Ford then went on to say "now we've reached the second phase." So for now it looks like the for Escape is left hanging...
