Headroom with Moonroof
Has anyone else noticed less headroom in an '08 FEH with a moonroof vs. one without?
My new '08 FEH doesn't have a moonroof and headroom is adequate (I'm 6'3"), but I sat in an '08 with a moonroof and my head was almost touching the ceiling (if I sat up straight - it did touch the ceiling). I adjusted the set like mine, but the headroom definately was less.
Ford's specs don't list a seperate headroom number for moonroof vs. non-moonroof.

That is almost always the case in vehicles with and without moonroofs. The headliner is often lower because the glass has to slide back between the roof and headliner.
I almost ordered mine with one and am glad I didn't.
I've never seen the specs in a brochure or on a website list the difference between moonroof/no moonroof.
I'm 6'7" and have no problem with the headroom in my 06 MMH. Having power vs manual seat may make a difference. I have mine set to the lowest height on the power seat.

BTW, would not your balding head rub against the glass panel, and not the fuzzy headliner, if you had a moonroof?
