Question Hardwiring radar detector

Can anyone offer any advice/suggestions on how to route/hardwire a radar detector in a FEH?
Thanks!

You can get the $450 one from circuitcity for hardwiring. But it's really pointless. This SUV don't really have the ability to speed, it takes a while to get to 80mph.

Sure, I'd do it like I described in this post. All you have to do is clip the cig adapter plug off and wire the + and - to the fuse box and ground. Make sure to use an inline fuse holder between the fuse box and the detector though.
