On the '06 there is no filter installed from the factory. It fits in a space over top of a plastic "mesh". I can't look at yours but that mesh isn't the filter... but is there room for one on top of it?

I don't think that Ford has ever included an actual cabin air filter on the FEH. Just the location and the option to purchase one after the fact.

I used the Motorcraft FP-66 (8L8Z-19N619-B) on my '08 FEH. The AC Delco CF108 (89031230) will not work but I believe it works for the '05-'07s.

I was awaire that Ford did not include the cabin air filter.... I was not awaire that they stoped making it "easy" for the lamer to put in place. As it stands I'm looking to buy the filter and try it. The filter is listed as FP-66

in the manual... hummm I'll double check that..

Like some of you I really just want to keep the cabin cleaner and maybe my nose too.... maybe
