Default ABS + Trac Fried Module?

2010 FEH 65k miles. Battery went dead while my wife and I were in Africa. Daughter jump started it, then ABS and Trac Control lights came on (also hybrid works, but no regen braking). No problems before the jump. Lights come on with ignition on, never go off.

Went to scan, scan tool says communications failure. Took it to the dealer they say the ABS module is fried - want > $2k to replace it. I figured I'd check the fuses and thought I'd find 2 for the brake module a 50A and maybe a 5 or 10A. I can only find 2 50A fuses, one marked brake control module the other brake control module solenoid. Am I missing another fuse somewhere? Can you really fry a module with a jump? Anything else I can check? Finally is it worth trying to find a module salvage, or should I just man up the $1000 for the part?

Finally got to replacing the ABS module today. That didn't make any difference. Still has ABS and TRAC control lights on. I'll take it back again to see if it can scan the ABS module. Anyone have a wiring diagram for this car? I'd like to double check that the module is getting power.

A low 12v battery will throw all sorts of codes, you should always replace that first when any warning light presents itself.

Did the shop mate the ABS module to your vehicle? The vin has to be matched and other parameters.

Quite a few of the Hybrid supplements to the factory shop manual on ebay for about $20. It's pretty comprehensive.

Las Vegas, however I just purchased a complete set. They'll probably come in handy in the future.

The troubleshooting in those is an absolute joke. You might get something out of the diagrams though.
