2010 FEH sticking, hard to engage steering column key lock
Just a quick note to broadcast the success i had a few months ago with a PTFE dry lubricant spray in freeing up the hard to engage key lock. I was initially a bit pessimistic it would work in light of the number of issues owner have on the later Ford Escapes but it,s been working well. In fact, it's gotten better over time as the lube works it way into the hidden corners and crevices. Very pleased......so far.

thanks for the post - that was my next item of interest.
2009 FEH - key seems to be a little stuck;
still working with other issues but was reading about graphite vrs WD-40 (the pros and cons).
And wd40 does have out a PTFE.
