S Keith, no change. no start. will turn over if I go from off to crank engine, but only for a few seconds. I'll check obd codes.

Bolts were not loose.

I would love to get a handle on all the control modules and where they are. The box in the battery is the BCM? The box mounted in firewall with three large plugs is the HPCM? etc etc

 

This is what I'm thinking I need. The control module inside the HV case. But of course I'm not certain. Maybe worth the $99. I'd rather find a whole battery locally for $500.

Or maybe getting the BCM or PCM flashed. This worked for someone else on here that had a recalcitrant FEH.

 

 

Is there any chance that there is something amiss with the security system? Any flashing key icon?

Can you remove the gas line from the fuel rail and confirm you get gas when you cycle the ignition on?

The BCM is the one inside the battery case?

Fuel pressure reads fine, and engine actually runs for those few seconds, as I can smell exhaust.
No key issues.

Just bought a BCM on ebay for $107. Gets here in 3 days, so we will see. : - )

 

If the HV battery is good AND has the jump start system ('08 or earlier), then yes.
