Glad you got it fixed.

Just curious how many miles are on your FEH?
Did the brake line look like it broke from road debris hitting it or just normal wear & tear?

The brake line actually looked like it broke from just being old. My FEH has 193,000 KM on it... approximately 120,000 miles. The material instead of being rubbery, turned HARD and I guess cracked from being flexed, and expanded etc under pressure... possibly also due to the cold, and heat etc.

I wouldn't say normal wear and tear... but definitely not road debris. These things shouldn't break(brake) like this... sorry, I needed to do the pun.

Price breakdown was like this:

$97 for front brake lines, $85 for rear brake lines + 4 hours labor. That included bleeding of the brakes... which others on here have been quoted approximately $500 in labor alone. So I think I got off pretty easy!
