Default '09 FEH Warm-Up

I've found another simple technique to improve MPG during cold start warm-ups. It's back to my recommendation of using Cruise Control (CC) on flat roads as much as possible.

My battery SoC in most cases is near or below 40% after parking for the night so I begin at a very low SoC at start-up. I've found once I get up to speed that setting the CC will increase my Instant MPG a great deal. As the battery rebuilds SoC it is not uncommon to see 30-35mpg in SoC ranges of 35%. Who would think of setting the CC during the warm-up strategy? Try it!
