My automatic tranny was over-filled by about 2 quarts. Since there is a plug near the left front tire to check or add fluid, how could it be overfilled with so much fluid? Is thee another way or place to add fluid? When I pulled out the plug, tranny fluid gushed out. I put the plug back in and got a drain pain. I drained the excess and it came to 1 1/2 quarts. With what initially spilled out, it probably was closer to two quarts.

 

It was probably filled with the car leaning to the right. If done on the street, even a small angle could allow for overfilling.
