Alpha WOLF Debuts at Peterson Automotive Museum
The prototype of Alpha Motor Corporation’s WOLF electric pickup truck goes up on display at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
Earlier in April, we reported that Alpha WOLF has all the makings of an EV that can entice and motivate even the most hardcore ICE fans to adopt electric mobility. Alpha Motor Corporation has developed a prototype of the WOLF electric pickup truck, which will be on display at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. You can now experience the company’s offering in person through mid-November.
The Petersen’s Executive Director, Terry L. Karges, shared his thoughts on the Alpha WOLF display. “We’re excited to have the WOLF Electric Truck on display before it becomes a sight on the road.” He further added, “Alpha Motor Corporation’s innovation and dedication to sustainable mobility has produced a striking vehicle made right here in Southern California.”
This is an important milestone for Alpha Motor Corporation. Having developed a production-spec model, Alpha Motors now joins the likes of Rivian as an EV startup that might have a promising future in the electric pickup truck segment. The company recently also uploaded a video on its official YouTube channel that offers a quick look at the two-seater WOLF pickup truck. Understandably, the EV manufacturer is very excited about WOLF’s global debut.
“WOLF is a simple work truck with a soul. It’s built to perform everyday tasks and has a presence of a fun to drive adventure vehicle. We are excited for its public debut,” said Alpha Motor Corporation. If you want to check out the WOLF electric truck, the tickets are now on sale and can be pre-purchased via Peterson Automotive Museum’s official website.
The display truck can be seen sporting its release color called “Finesse,” which is a non-metallic blue color option. Alpha WOLF will be available in a single motor rear-wheel-drive variant and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive model. The truck will be powered by a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which Alpha Motor claims can deliver anywhere between 250 to 275 miles of range.
Alpha Motor has also confirmed that WOLF will get DC fast-charging capability, which will allow customers to recharge the battery pack up to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes. According to the company, Alpha WOLF can hit the 60 MPH mark from a complete standstill in just 6.2 seconds and can tow up to 3000 lbs. Alpha Motor Corporation aims to launch the WOLF electric truck by the end of 2023 in the United States. Prices for Alpha WOLF’s entry-level model will start from $36,000.
