On one of my PCs the posts in a thread are viewed first to last on the other it is opposite. I can't find the preference to change this. Help me please!

This is not a user's setting. The administrator sets this for everybody.

At the top of the discussion panel, there is a link "USER CP". Click on that.
Then click on "Edit options." Thers is an option there for how you desire the view of the threads.

Zadscmc is correct. You can change it in your user settings.

I have found that when I am logged in, the newest post in a thread is at the top. If I am not logged in the oldest post is at the top.

I find the newest first to be annoying. Glad this forums offers a choice.
