Wink Tire pressure caps -- worked!

Hi,

Yesterday, I noticed one of my tire pressure caps was showing some yellow. Today, I measured it and found it at 35 psi. I topped it off at 40 psi and all four wheels are showing 'green.'

The four, 40 psi caps cost $6.00 and $5.00 for shipping, $11 total. Still it is a cheap and easy way to monitor tire pressure.

Where did you order them from? The only ones I've seen online are at least $10, if not more.

I guess they are better than not ever checking your tires. I find that they tend to not work as well over time.

That is one of the reasons for the experiment. They do claim you need to replace them when you replace the tires. Also, I'd like to see a positive locking mechanism (aka., locking nut.)

The big advantage is checking is easy . . . just walk around the car or look at them when you approach the car.
