I noticed some FM stations transmit song title/artist information. My 2007 radio presets will scroll an 8 character display of this information. That is pretty cool. So then why can't the Sirius tuner scroll its 10 character limited display? Makes no sense!

 

Well from lots of reading I think the issue is XM only transfers a max of 16 characters of song and artist data. So even though I installed a SIR-PAN1 adapter in my 07 Camry to get Sirius, I am still handcuffed by the lame XM character limit. It is rather annoying but there really isn't anything I can do about it, at this point at least.
