A computer but I wanted to show that it is not in a plastic case but something somewhat substantial. The hybrid ECU is located on the passenger side floorboard, relatively low in the car. It has a reasonable chance of surviving. Of all of the ECUs, this is the only one that sees all of the important signals including accelerator inputs.
