This is what Chris sent me:
I read your email with great interest, and it is leading me to re-check my facts. I have an agenda, and that is to say, I believe hybrids are a dead end technology, and I believe we should be working on real, long term solutions to the energy crisis MY generation will soon have to deal with. But I assure you, my intent was not to mislead, and I will gladly email you a copy of my next piece, which goes at length discussing alternative energy sources for future transporation.

In all honesty, I threw the paper together in thirty minutes, checked my attribution, and sent it into my editor because I had nothing better to do. I can tell you put some effort into writing and researching this, and I would like to return the effort by delving into the information you provided me.

I don't know where Chris has wander off and frankly don't care. He has bought into the nonsense that a 'reporter' has no ethical responsibilities except to his own 'agenda.'

The Mail
withdrew the piece about nickel after the city fathers of Sudbury contacted them. In the UK, libel has teeth.

As for the CNW Marketing nonsense, they forgot that money is also green. So the growing inventory of unsold vehicles CNW advocated for is shouting how silly and unimportant both CNW Marketing the the cars they claim as "green" have become.

There is nothing to be pissed about as much as smile and move on ... but if there is someone you don't like, make sure they get a copy of that article. Only people we like should buy hybrids. <GRINS>

Git yer global Hummer sales figures right here:

http://media.gm.com/servlet/GatewayS...=3&docid=45286

Off 14.8% YTD compared to 2007. They may need some new 'stories' to save it.

Wonder if the buyers know they are supposed to drive (and feed) them for 300,000+ miles. That CNW marketing study said so. It might get expensive, someday...

DAS, just being mean because, well, here we go again.
