I was going to record it (it's tough to catch in the act), then I found this:

That's almost definitely the noise. Exact location, and basically the sound I hear. It happens as I start to brake occasionally, and when I'm pulsing and gliding a lot. Only very briefly though, so catching it is quite the feat.
