It's funny how owning a Prius and using this website make things that would normally not be pleasant... a little bit exciting. For example I just filled up the tank again - normally a chore - but that means I get to post my latest mileage numbers to this website, further averaging out that crap first tank into history.

The other day traffic slowed to a crawl - about 20mph for miles -and I thought to myself "Well, I'm late, but at least I'm getting great mileage."

It's nice how a great hybrid and this website can turn some of the worst parts of car ownership around.

 

I used to record my stats everytime I filled up and then I would post the results on the website. I guess the enthusiasm wore off for me after a few months of meticulously recording stats during each fillup. Now I just stop filling up when I hear the first click and trust the Prius MFD.
