Wink Follow-up on transaxle studies

Hi,

Back in January, I found my NHW11, 2003 Prius from west Texas had problems with "silicon" in the transaxle oil:

As a result, I planned and just finished fixing the problem that caused high silicon readings in the oil:

With the new vent plug, we'll change the transaxle oil this weekend and send a sample for testing. We'll also install a thermister equipped drain plug to monitor transaxle oil temperatures.

The tire pressure sensing caps are still reporting good pressure. We are waiting for one of them to show 'yellow' before testing all the tires again.
