Default Beyond Hypermiling

This weekend my family and I drove to Palm Springs, which is about 250 miles RT. Four adults, luggage, A/C going full tilt all the way, hills, plenty of power, 65-75 mph. 50 mpg. I know this pales in comparison to hypermiling, but wow. A 50-mpg workhorse.

I always like hearing experiences like this. People really using the vehicle under real world conditions and getting great mileage. I like it even better when you use the a/c full tilt and get this kind of mileage. Kind of puts to shame the "no a/c" comments that pop up every now and then.

Congratulations!
