Default 5,000 check up- now Prius 2 more sensitive feeling

After the check up (5,000) at Dealer, my Salsa 05 Prius feels different. I feel the motor kick in and out more, such as when coming to a stop or idling. Just wondering if the techs do some kind of idle adjust. I like it the feeling and no-sensing of motor pausing or dropping that it had before the check-up--- Anybody Else had this experience or advice???? J from Va. Mr Bosox

Mine is doing the same thing and i only have about 2k miles on mine. I attribute it to the colder weather that has come down upon us in chicago lately. The peddle is much more sensitive to engaging the engine as well as the "kick" you refer to when it does go on. Hope it will be better again next sprin when it starts warming up again.

Got ya I just did not get this action from motor and elsewhere this summer when i purchased it in July 05 now it just seems like they should adjust it-- like readjusting the idle somewhat--- thanks again J from Northern Va.
