WOndering what the skinnny is on this? Any idea when we will see it?
Have heard about lithium ion battery and rechargeable possiblities....but seems no consensus or reliable information: does anyone have any good leads or news to share? thanks!

It is highly likely that 2008 is not going to be a major redesign year. Probably more of what we have now, tweak the interior, change the color offerings and ship it out again. Toyota will run the body style until the sales fall below what they believe to be the lowest sales threshold they are willing to market the car under and then will introduce a new model.

Popular Mechanics had a "concept" picture in a recent issue of a future Prius, however I'm not all that impressed with the appearance.
