New 2008 Prius Owner

New 2008 Prius Owner
Hi!
I just got my 2008 Prius on Sat, Sept 22. I got package 5 with all the bells and whistles--I really like the smart key.
We intended to get a 07 but they couldn't get one in blue, so it ended up being a white 2008!
So far I have driven 180 miles and it's only down 1/8 of a tank. My old Focus wagon would be down almost a half tank at this point.
I am Pravus Prime's Mom. He has given me some driving lessons in my Prius and I learned some of it just by being around him.

Welcome to GreenHybrid as a real honest to goodness member! Feel free to look around, ask questions, and get acquainted with the large Prius community here. There's also a somewhat technical Prius FAQ written by Bob Wilson that you may want to page through for some little tips.

To everyone else, watch out for this one! While it took her a bit to adjust to the Prius and Hypermiling, so far she's shining bright; she'll be a top Prius pilot in no time.

We also encourage folks to track their mileage in the database. After the dealer tank, the mileage records will help you get the most from the car.
