A spoiler with the third brake light integrated into it.

A trigger switch on the steering wheel to toggle the info display.

A CD player that supports mp3 CDR discs.

A Limited Edition without the spoiler - what a waste!

My wife and I were comparing notes between our FEH and our HiHy. The thing we would like on the HiHy that it doesn't have is Speed Sensitive Volume control for the sound system. Our 1999 Chevy Tahoe had this and so does the new Ford Escape.

I now can add to my list:

6) Interior light timer

A dead battery greeted me Saturday around noon. Apparently one of the doors was not shut tight and the interior lights stayed on from Friday late afternoon until Saturday.

Add one more to my list:

7) DTE (Distance To Empty) estimate

I'm suprised Toyota didn't include this feature.

Another thing the FEH has that the HiHy does not is the ability to open the back hatch glass only as well as opening both. This is nice for groceries and other relatively small items when you don't need to open up the entire back end.

guys

my wife and I were talking about this tonight after taking our daughter to the airport in Orlando, which is 140 miles round trip.

We could sure use more consol space to store stuff in a handy location . The underneath the center consol space is awkward , and the minature closing box cant take all our items. I end up holding them in my lap . The glove box is too minature to handle it either.

perhaps the 07 edition will have some improved storing facilities.

tomdavie - EXCELLENT suggestion. IMO the center console is a huge waste of space. From the start it handicaps itself by being so low and narrow. Then you lose space because they chose the retractable double doors instead of a simple lid hinged towards the rear seats.

I actually have less space in the HiHy than I did in my Touareg... and the Touareg wasn't exactly "storage-friendly" to begin with!
