Default Changing Spark plugs on 06 HYhi

I need to change the spark plugs in the 06 Highlander Hybrid. I have a misfire code. I know i need lithium tipped plugs. I heard that if i change them myself that it is very dangerous due to the electrical syster and i can either hurt myself if i don't wear the proper gloves or i can fry my computer syster.

Any comments, has anyone done this? If so, do you need to secure any thing or what should i do?

Thanks for the help in advance.

If i can do it myself it will save me about 250 bucks.

I changed my plugs in my 2006 Highlander Hybrid about a week ago. I did a lot of research and found nothing saying I was going to kill myself by changing them myself. Due to the position of the engine the front 3 plugs are no problem to get to all I had to do was remove a few parts to allow for access to the plugs etc. However, my problem was the rear 3 plugs. They are way back there, good luck getting to them. I have yet to change them. It looks like the only way to do it is from underneath, and that didn't even look very promising. I have been searching on the internet for a while now looking to see if anyone can offer any suggestions so I can get it done. It looks like I am going to have to take it to the dealership or another mechanic to finish the job.

It is a load of fun to change the plugs in most any Toyota V6. It can be done from the top but you will need a few special tools to make the job a little easier. No more than you will need them, it might be simpler and cheaper to head to your neighborhood tech. The dealers will make you pay for your mistake.... The last Toyota V6 that I did took about an hour.
