I am looking for a second set of rims for winter only snow tires for my 2006 HH. The stock rims on it are 17X6.5" and I measured as having +35mm of offset, 5x4.5" bolt pattern.

I noticed that some of the non-hybrid highlanders came with 16" rims. For winter only snow traction, I would prefer having 16" rims with higher aspect ratio tires. However, looking at the clearance at the front brake caliper it looks doubtful to me that 16" wheels would fit on a HH. Has anyone tried fitting 16" wheels? Anyone know if the HH in fact has larger front brakes than the non-hybrid highlanders?

Know of stock rims from other vehicles that have been sucessfully swapped onto a HH?
