Where to Buy Extended Warranty - Best Price
Duped:
I don't have my warranty yet. However, I am going to get it from Midwest. See prices Message 18 on this thread.
Good luck and don't let them give you some BS that you can't cancel!

seems pretty good but have you called some of the others - don't know about the 7/75/50 but comparing midwest to this one at 6/100/0, showed a $250 difference (1075 vs 825). Midwest is in Kansas, and it is the Toyota warranty...
I purchased the Toyota extended warranty when I took delivery of the car. I took the Platinum coverage and paid about $850.00, 7 years/100k miles. With the warranty I get about 5 free services calls and some other benefits.. That will probably pay for the cost of the warranty. I think it's worth it. For the next few years the knowledge of the technology for these cars will be limited to the factory trained service staff.
From my Prius days I found this source to be excellent:

I checked around with a few dealerships on the 7 yr. / 100k mile / 0 deductible EW recently. Attached are my findings...apparently there's been a price hike since the pre 7/23 posts in this forum. Sorry I didn't do more follow-through on the pre-paid maintenance prices, but feel free to fill in the blanks where appropriate. I'm still deciding whether the initial out-of-pocket cost is worth it...
RE: the EW....I ultimately decided to go with Dan Porter Motors in Dickinson, North Dakota. Cost = $900 out the door (no tax). Contact = Steve Larson in Finance (very friendly). Made sure it was a 1st party warranty. He's going to send me the contract via mail to sign and provide my payment info. Once I return it, he'll plug my name in the Toyota dealer network, so I'll be able to use it at any U.S./Canadian dealership for service.

Does anybody out there living in Canada have a TCH that they bought from a Canadian dealer and a Toyota warranty purchased from a USA dealer? The Toyota Canada dealers I have talked to will NOT give me a discount on a factory extended warranty and warn me that a Toyota USA warranty purchased for a Toyota Canada car will not be honoured. A 84 month/120,000 km warranty up here costs $1,999
