What is the dumbest part of the TCH?
That probably would not be the best location for the ECO button since the steering wheel is pretty high-value real estate for location of controls. Voice, HVAC, and entertainment controls all should be there since they are used relatively frequently as opposed to the ECO button which, in my opinion, is a "push it once and forget it until the system kicks it off" button. In my case, that's only about once a month, not really enough to warrant a place on the steering wheel.
You know, for me the ECO button isn't that big of a deal. I actullay kind of like it there so I can "set-it-and-forget-it". During our summer heat, I might be more tempted to cancel it if it was more obvious.
I do agree that the fuel door opening while in gear/or in motion seems an oversight by the engineers.

ECO button? I think I pressed it once to see if there is difference and I didn't see any. Why would I care where it is? Aux MP3 input? with 6 CD (actually MP3 CD) player I think I have capacity for about 1000 Songs, Sirius radio has about 150 stations plus all the FM an AM stuff, so where is that Aux input again just in case I ever need it, maybe when I hook up my TV? Why would I want to open fuel door while driving, except when pulling up to the gas station? Isn't that a good thing I can open refueling door before I even stop to speed things up and be on my merry way?
If you guys can't come up with better stuff, I guess I need to vote for perfection. The resetting of trip "A" during maintenance required reset kind of bothered me until I realized I can use trip "B" to track my MPG and leave trip"A" to track oil changes, after all it seems to be designed that way, why fight it?

The location of the ECO next to the fuel door which can open on the highway IS a problem.
If you attempt to turn on or off ECO and mistake the buttons, while foolishly keeping your eyes on the road, your fuel door will open.

And if I'm not mistaken, you can actually have up to 256 mp3s per disc so our 6-disc changers allow over 1500 songs. Pretty sweet, far as I'm concerned.
How the windows can be rolled down while you're in the car wash. Shouldn't there be moisture sensor that would prevent this?

Imagine if your car was was stuck in a snow bank. You tried to open the door but the pressure against the door was too great. You try the window to climb out, but the sensor said, sorry it's too moist outside!
Yikes! I thought my shop visit was bad at 35 days. I hope you have a free rental car like I did. Depending on what state you live in, there may be a lemon-law applicable here, in case you want a new car instead of the one you have. I don't encourage that, but the choice may be yours.
If your name of nyc2socal means you moved to Southern California, and bought your TCH here in CA, I think the lemon law kicks in after 30 days.
