I think that if your lug nuts are over 103 N*m, the last person who touched them owes you new rotors.

some cars have that, other don't. my cooper doesn't do it that way. my calipers will close.

I just took a look at my TCH rotors and they are the top hat style. So at least we don't have to worry about warpage due to e-brake...

Yup, that what was happening to my ex 1999 4Runner that I had to replace the rotors every 10k-12k miles and finally figured it out that dealership and or Discount Tire would over-torque the wheel nuts when I had it for tire rotation (made me so mad.....)......... and so never ever again as I am doing tire rotation myself with a torque set to 76 ft-lbs and never had the issue again... simply do not trust when they tell you "we used the correct torque setting to tighten the wheel nuts" yeah right...

also how many dealrships you think they follow the proper sequence to remove tires equipped with wheel locks (tire removal: first the wheel lock and then the rest wheel nuts. tire placement: first wheel nuts and then wheel lock.) surprise, surprise, not many...
