Hi Poa94 dc dc converter Performance code , if your car is giving trouble at high speeds or after driving over 20 minutes, and car goes into limp mode. Check your tranny Fliud if it’s black or purple you will need a new transaxle, I had the same problem in the car tried every bloody thing related to hv but in the end it was the transmission and it fixed th problem. I did lot of research but found no straight answer so now my car is fixed decided to leave feed back here so might be helpful for someone. My car was Toyota Estima Hybrid . Same engine etc and Camry Vellfire , Alphard, Etc

I’ve got a 2010 Camry hybrid with 147,000km on it.
It’s giving the P0A94 code, along with the 127 sub-code.
Has anyone managed to fix this error without replacing the transmission?

See attached. Order of likelihood:
- HV relay assembly
- Inverter with converter assembly
- Service plug grip
- Frame wire
- Wire harness or connector
- Hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly

I also am having the same problem, did replacing the transmission fix it? I got a 2nd hand inverter and changed the fluid in the transmission, which was black, same issues tho.

Fuse (INV W/P)
HV relay assembly
Hybrid vehicle control ECU
Hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly
Inverter cooling system
Inverter with converter assembly
Service plug grip
Water pump with motor & bracket assembly
Wire harness or connector
The most common causes across all detail codes are 1) inverter and 2) transaxle.
You need to get the detail code associated with P0A94, or you're just taking shots in the dark.

Update on my car: I lived in denial for several months while the car was parked in my front yard.
I finally gave up and bought a replacement transmission.
Since it was fitted there hasn't been a problem with the car.

I had the same issue on a 2011 Camry Hybrid, high mileage ex-taxi. Driving above 90kph for more than around 10 min would set the P0A94-127 code. Replacing the transmission fixed the issue.
