Wow, holding the DISP...that's a great feature. Probably means I can concentrate on actually driving instead of scrolling around and around to the info I actually want to see! Unless you actually read the manual like a novel, you only reference it when you know what you've got a question about. They should have a quick reference guide for neat little features!

Unless I am crazy, I really think the above does occur and that (saddly) it took me two years (about) to realize this.

How about you?
Nice to know 10 1/2 months later!

I realized (after six months) that rather than leaving the center console door up (to access the plugs for the AUX and power wires) you can remove punch out panels to allow the wires to snake to the side slot for a less cluttered looking console.

I realized that if you accidentally hit the talk (instead of the DISP) button when people are dozing in the car, they will get really P.O.-ed at you when the nice lady yells out "Pardon?". On a similar note, I realized you can adjust her volume (lest you suffer the wrath of your traveling partners).

Overall, I'm glad I'm not the only one "discovering" new features after owning the car and driving it everyday for more than a year.

In addition, much like most of you, it only took me one minute to realize this is a great car! (Other than some squeaks -- but it give character I suppose.)

After two years, I've just learned that I can select a different CD in my 6-disk changer by pressing and holding the "up" or "down" button on the steering wheel. I muttered for two years that it was difficult to change CDs while driving and reaching for the little dash button.

BTW, I just took a round trip ski trip today from Kitsap Co. to Crystal Mtn. WA - 215 mi., 40.7 mpg. Conditions that kill mileage: stop and go, headwinds, rain ... large friends ...

Overall mpg 34. 23K miles with zero problems. Ah, what a great car.

That's a nice long trip...I like how you nicely added "large friends" to the end of your list

I have realized that the TCH is such a "NICE" car...on a recent trip to the dealer I got a RAV4 as a loaner while they fixed my steering wheel (recall)...I couldnt wait to get back my TCH
